Try the complete setup and tell the person who invited you what worked and where you got stuck. KidDocket is free during this beta, with no card or automatic later charge. ChatGPT and any other connected services have their own availability and pricing.
Start from scratch
- Complete the compatibility check and enter your family and delivery preferences.
- Copy your prompt into a new ChatGPT conversation, signed in to the account you’ll use on your phone.
- Let ChatGPT load the guide. Approve only the account connections you want, then check its real sample for correct children and dates.
- Run a delivery test. Confirm the full email arrives and, if selected, the phone alert opens the briefing.
- Approve your regular schedule only after the selected outputs work. Keep that conversation for future updates.
Using iCloud Mail or Yahoo?
Choose your email service during setup. ChatGPT will guide you through linking it with Mailopoly Inbox, a separate service that may require a subscription. If you already started a family conversation, ask it to help connect your iCloud or Yahoo mailbox through Mailopoly and reuse your existing setup. Test school-message reading and an unattended briefing before relying on it. Never paste account passwords into ChatGPT.
Paper newsletters count too
Photograph every page and upload it to your family’s ChatGPT conversation—not this website. Say which child and week it covers. Review the extracted dates and ask ChatGPT to add the confirmed details to your existing scheduled briefing. Repeat when a new paper notice comes home.
If something doesn’t work
If the guide won’t load, stop and share the error with your beta inviter. Don’t substitute an invented setup guide. If a connection or delivery method isn’t available, ChatGPT should explain that before scheduling.
For a missing phone alert, check whether the task completed, then check ChatGPT and phone notification settings. A scheduled time is not an exact arrival guarantee. Avoid creating duplicate schedules while troubleshooting.
To change teachers, delivery times, or recipients, use the same ChatGPT conversation and ask it to update the existing task. To stop updates, pause or delete that task in ChatGPT’s scheduled-task controls.
Your information
This website does not request passwords, connect to your inbox, or collect school newsletters. Family details and recipient addresses are processed in page memory, not saved to a KidDocket family database. Browser restoration and clipboard copies may retain information. Compatibility answers are kept in this browser tab’s session storage to carry into the form. The site does not save a family account.
Your copied prompt contains the family details and preferences you entered. Pasting it into ChatGPT shares that information with ChatGPT. School messages, photos, connections and scheduled updates are handled in your own ChatGPT account and authorized services, under their terms and privacy settings. The hosting provider may process routine website request logs.
What to tell us after testing
Tell your beta inviter which provider and outputs you tried, where setup was confusing, whether the first scheduled briefing arrived, and any missing or incorrect school dates. Remove children’s private details from screenshots you share for troubleshooting.
The examples on this site are fictional. An initial Gmail and push test has passed, but each family’s setup still needs verification. Check important dates against the school’s original notice. Apple Calendar subscriptions are planned and not available yet.
